Audio Brief: "A portrait of friendship, youth, and the carefree agency that comes from traversing the city on a skateboard" is how directors Luke & Josh Exell describe their short-film Ya F'oy, which follows the antics of a skate crew in Côte d'Ivoire. The sound design needed to capture that same spirit, and draw the viewer into a world with no distractions, and no external influences. Just the laughter, the music, and the skating!
